Is High Fructose Corn Syrup Really Bad


Is high fructose corn syrup really bad for you. This is the question that a lot of people are asking themselves today, at least the ones who know what high fructose corn syrup is. From my knowledge that I have gained from reading about corn syrup or any other corn products I would have to say that not only will it make you fat but it could be damaging to your over all health.

There is something else that I found really strange when it comes to high fructose corn syrup and other corn products on the market. I don’t know if anyone else has noticed this but they are actually running commercials on television telling people that there is no difference between sugar cain and sugar from corn. This is not true your body can tell the difference and your body uses it differently too.

There are some  things that you should know is that sugar is not sugar. High fructose corn syrup is being consumed in high amounts because it can be found in all most everything you eat that is processed and we are seeing the results of it over the years. We see that people are getting fatter and unhealthier, you also see people who are otherwise thin but are carrying a spare tire of fat around their midsection which can be caused by consuming large amounts of this sugar.

Here is a question to ask yourself . If  high fructose corn syrup is the same as other sugars why do I have to tell you this in a commercial. I believe that people are finally becoming more educated to the harmful effects of products they consume that contain corn syrup are having on them and are starting  to not use these products anymore and maybe it is having an effect on the corn industry.They put corn syrup in almost everything and it is not because it is better for you. It is because it is cheaper to use and their for creates larger profits for everyone involved.

Your first step if you don’ t know what high fructose corn syrup is. Is you get yourself educated about it and the effects it can have on your body and your health when you consume it. You should also start reading the labels of the things you buy and see if it has any corn products and avoid them and use alternatives.
